Gestalt therapy strengthens the ability to stay in contact — with yourself and with others.
Out beyond ideas of
wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.

A session typically lasts 60 minutes. During the first appointment, we clarify your concerns and discuss the expected duration and structure of the process—whether it’s just a few sessions or longer-term support.
After an optional initial meeting (15 minutes online or in person), you can decide whether support feels right for you—and what kind of framework fits best.

Fees
A session (60 minutes) typically costs €140. Reduced-fee places may be available if needed and by arrangement. Reimbursement by private health insurance may be possible depending on your plan. Statutory health insurance generally does not cover the costs unless you have supplementary Heilpraktiker insurance. Please check with your insurer whether reimbursement is available and to what extent.
Note on public health insurance
In exceptional cases, reimbursement may be possible if — despite multiple requests — no timely therapy place is available with a licensed (statutory) psychotherapist. The decision lies with the respective health insurance fund and must be applied for before treatment begins.
About Gestalt Therapy
Gestalt therapy goes back to Laura and Fritz Perls, who emigrated from Germany to the USA during the National Socialist era. There, within a growing “consciousness scene,” they found fertile ground to further develop their ideas.
The term “Gestalt” should not be confused with actively “shaping” something, as in art therapy. Here it refers to Gestalt in the sense of a holistic unity: the human being as a complete, living person in their present experience.
Gestalt therapy is rooted in a humanistic and holistic view of the person, with self-awareness, personal responsibility, and conscious encounter in the here and now at its core.
A central guiding principle of Gestalt therapy is: “What is, may be — and what may be, can change.” This seemingly paradoxical statement emphasizes two things: an honest look at our inner needs and feelings, and the liberating effect of acceptance through which change becomes possible.
